the coffee recipes
grand marnier licor

Marrying GRAND MARNIER® and coffee is timeless, but it is important to always find new combinations and new emotions. As a barista, and after carrying out hundreds of tests with spirits, I’ve found that GRAND MARNIER® liqueur gives the best results. The subtle balance between the Cognac and exotic orange essence gives the coffee a whole new dimension, unique and incomparable. A single ingredient is sufficient to add smoothness, power and fruity notes.

In a mug, combine 40 ml GRAND MARNIER® liqueur heated with 100 ml of hot espresso.
Use premium coffee for a richer, more aromatic combination. Pour in the heated liqueur first, so that it becomes imbued with the flavours of the coffee.
Top with a thin layer of whipped cream. Garnish with coffee beans.

In a tall glass, combine a hot espresso with 40 ml GRAND MARNIER® liqueur and 200 ml of hot milk.
GRAND MARNIER® liqueur, with its roundness and aromatic intensity, creates a subtle balance between the robust coffee flavours and the milk.
Top with whipped cream, or, if you have an espresso machine with a steam nozzle, use it to heat the milk. That will allow you to obtain a light foam that can be spooned over the drink.

In a tall glass, combine an espresso with 20 ml GRAND MARNIER® liqueur heated with a pinch of powdered cinnamon. Top with a thin layer of whipped cream and sprinkle with powdered ginger.
The round flavours of GRAND MARNIER® liqueur create a harmonious balance between the sweetness of the cinnamon, the peppery flavours of the ginger and the robust ones of the espresso.
The powdered ginger can be substituted with freshly grated ginger or crystallized ginger.

In a tall glass, combine a hot espresso with 30 ml of melted dark chocolate, 40 ml GRAND MARNIER® liqueur and 200 ml of hot milk. Decorate with whipped cream, or foamed milk if using the steam nozzle of an espresso machine, and chocolate shavings.
GRAND MARNIER® liqueur, with its essence of Citrus Bigaradia orange, adds a fruity touch to this delectable drink.
To make this recipe even easier, you can replace the melted chocolate with powdered cocoa combined with the hot milk.
